The ruins of the Karamatsu castle – It is the ruins of a frontline base owned by the Ando family who had long divided and conquered Akita prefecture since the medieval period. Back then, there were wars to compete for the ship transportation base on the Omono river. The Noh stage is located at the base of the ruins. With music played by musicians echoing through the surrounding mountains, the festive atmosphere takes you to a magical world. It is one of few authentic noh stages in the Tohoku region and was modeled after the Kita-noh stage of Nishi-honganji temple in Kyoto.
